On 18. June 2019 American Getaround buys Norwegian car sharing company Nabobil.no.
Getaround is currently the number one global car sharing player, has 400 employees, operates in 300 cities and has raised $ 400 million. Getaround will use Nabobil to expand its business in Scandinavia. Getaround was launched in 2011.
Change Com has been a shareholder in Nabobil since June 2016, and this transaction is a milestone for Change Com since it represents the first exit since its startup portfolio was set up.
In conjunction with this transaction, Change has invested 10 000 USD in Getaround Inc.
Sam Zaid in Getaround acquires Nabobil and Even Heggernes.
