On 15. March 2019 Change Com invested 25.000 USD in FinAccess Inc, and American registered company offering a cloud-based banking solution to micro finance institutions (MFIs), currently serving the Kenyan market.
FinAccess’ core features include offerings of mobile money transfer service, data analytics, credit scoring to improve lending decisions. The solution helps MFIs to automate processes and save cost.
Founder and CEO, Paul Okari Barclay, is a serial entrepreneur that has founded several technology and consumer goods companies. He is listed by Forbes as one of the Top 30 under 30 Entrepreneurs in Africa in 2014/2015/2016.
Change Com believes the investment in FinAccess is an important investment in order to support one of our main strategic investment areas, Digital Financial services in Africa and Asia.
